About the Doctors
Dr. Yan Kalika
Yan Kalika, DMD, MS is a certified specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics and the San Francisco Dental Society. Dr. Kalika graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993, majoring in chemistry. While in Berkeley, he was in the Students Honor Society and Golden Key Honor Society. He received his dental degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1998. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Washington D.C. in the field of dental health policy. While at Harvard, Dr. Kalika served as president of the American Student Dental Association where he received a national award of excellence. He was a lecturer at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Harvard School of Public Health. He received honors in all clinical disciplines at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, the Soma Weiss Research Scholarship and an International Research Fellowship from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kalika completed his orthodontic training at the University of California at San Francisco where he received a specialty certificate in orthodontics and facial orthopedics and a master’s degree in oral biology. He is committed in providing quality orthodontic treatment while exceeding patients and parents’ expectations.
Dr. Michael Horii
Dr. Michael Horii received his BS and DDS from Western Reserve University, completed his specialty certificate in orthodontics and facial orthopedics and then went on to earn a master’s degree in oral biology from Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. April Lee
April Lee, DDS, MS is a certified specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California at San Diego, her dental degree from the University of California at San Francisco and her orthodontic and masters degree in craniofacial biology from the University of Southern California. Dr. Lee is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics and the San Francisco Dental Society. In her free time, Dr. Lee loves to globe trot around the world and explore the multitude of hiking trails around the bay area.

Amazing

I started out at the Geary Street location but then moved to the Townsend location for ease of access due to a job transfer. I must say the Townsend location was a far better experience for me. It was easy to get to, the wait time was probably at most 2 minutes. It would appear the Doctor was not stretched so thin to see multiple patients. I had such a wonderful experience with Image...my 2 year relationship with them has been great and I'm a very satisfied, happy customer. I have the perfect smile to prove it! :) Thanks so much Image!!
Excellent Night Guard

Dr. Benson Wong made my night guard to protect my teeth from grinding at night. He really crafted the night guard and finished it by hand with a a variety of tools. He's a perfectionist and takes extra care to create a night guard which was strong and long lasting and yet comfortable. After I had fillings done and my teeth moved, he didn't charge to adjust it.

I was referred to Image and have had a great experience. The price is comparable with other doctors and the service has been very convenient and efficient. This is important and not always the case with doctors. The entire process has been very easy. I have invisalign and am about 4 months into the treatment. My teeth are aligning quickly and beautifully. Every appointment is on time and quick. Everyone I've dealt with has been extremely professional and helpful. It's obvious that the client service is a priority shared by the entire staff. I am thrilled with the experience.
